Jaiksfukin
Jaiksfukin was an interactive comic magazine for the whole family. Its experimental nature explored different features of the magazine format, such as mailing locations, frequency of publication, stamps, printing technology and interactivity with the audience. An important aspect of the magazine, which flirted with autobiography, was playing with the interface between truth and falsehood. Jaiksfukin was also published as a pirate version by William C Media, which continued to be published after Jaiksfukin ended due to an unfortunate time travel. The Kone Foundation supported work on the magazine throughout 2017.
First appearance of Jaiksfukin was in the comic book X-MAS Surprise and the first Jaiksfukin magazine ”Jaiksfukin kesätöissä” was published by Daada as a spin off zine for the Finnish edition of the book. The magazines are still available from Turun sarjakuvakauppa and the author. They have been available as a box set too.
Jaiksfukin was nominated as a candidate for Comics-Finlandia 2017.
